Ingredients

The 3 Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole pork tenderloin (about 1½–2 lbs / 700–900 g)
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup bottled ranch dressing (or 1 packet ranch seasoning mixed with the broth)

Optional Additions (for extra flavor)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Black pepper
  • Baby potatoes
  • Carrots
  • Fresh herbs

Instructions

1. Prepare the Slow Cooker

Lightly grease the slow cooker or add a slow cooker liner.

2. Add Ingredients

Place the pork tenderloin in the slow cooker.

Pour over:

  • Chicken broth
  • Ranch dressing
  • Onion soup mix

Make sure the pork is coated.

3. Cook

Cover and cook:

LOW: 5–6 hours
or
HIGH: 3–4 hours

The pork should reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) followed by a short rest.

4. Rest and Slice

  1. Remove pork from the slow cooker.
  2. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes.
  3. Slice and spoon the flavorful sauce over the top.

Make the Sauce Even Better ⭐

For a thicker gravy:

  1. Remove the cooking liquid.
  2. Simmer it in a saucepan.
  3. Mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cold water.
  4. Stir into the sauce until thickened.

What to Serve With It

Perfect sides:

🥔 Mashed potatoes
🥦 Roasted vegetables
🍚 Rice
🥗 Salad
🥖 Dinner rolls

Storage

Refrigerator: 3–4 days
Freezer: Up to 3 months

Reheat gently with some of the sauce to keep it moist.

This recipe works because the slow cooker gently breaks down the pork while the ranch and onion flavors create a rich, savory sauce with very little effort. 🐷✨
